Reaction: Redskins select DT Tim Settle.
Late into the fifth round, the Washington Redskins keep their focus on the defense and select DT Tim Settle from Virginia Tech. There’s no doubt the Redskins are building the defensive front to help contain the run game, especially with Saquon Barkley, Ezekiel Elliot and Jay Ajayi in the division.
A more in-depth analysis and breakdown will soon follow but here’s a look at reactions from fellow Redskins players and reporters:

#Redskins take DL Tim Settle from Virginia Tech at No. 163 in the 5th round. More youth, size on the defensive line. They aren't messing around about improving that run D.

#Redskins grab Virginia Tech tackle Tim Settle with their first of two 5th round picks. This is a solid move to continue to add solid players along the d-line. He was a third-round grade on a lot of boards.

#Redskins grab Tim Settle. Strong up front DL player. Team is seriously trying to add on the front line and stop the run

Fantastic fit for #VirginiaTech DT Tim Settle with the #Redskins.
If they hadn't taken Da'Ron Payne earlier, he might've been their pick on Day 2.
Jon Allen – Da'Ron Payne – Tim Settle is a nice front three for the future.
