Major confusion and uncertainty quickly surrounded the Washington Redskins as news broke that General Manager Scot McCloughan would not be attending the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis this year. The official report was soon clarified that it was due to a death in his family, but a conflicting report also came out that said McCloughan had been “sent home” from Redskins park on February 20 and told not to return. Oooh boy.
Hosts Chad and Mark are joined by friend of the show and 106.7 reporter Brian McNally, who was in direct contact with McCloughan as the story broke last night. McNally walks us through everything that we know, everything that we don’t know, and what it all means.
We also discuss the latest news on the Kirk Cousins contract saga, as news broke today that formal negotiations have begun, but the team and player remain “far apart” in contract talks.
Finally, we unpack the NFL scouting combine itself, and get the latest from Indianapolis!
A huge show that can’t be missed!
